Michelle A. Eurek, 68, of Lincoln, died on March 25, 2025 in Lincoln.

Michelle was born December 23, 1956 in Loup City to Mike and Marie (Begacz) Eurek.

After graduating from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln with a degree in business administration, Michelle worked at Kawasaki Motors Corp. from 1980 until 2022 when she retired as the company’s human resource manager. She was very active in human resources and attended many meetings and conferences and took pride in being the best she could be.

Some of her activities included being a member of Phi Chi Theta (National Professional Business Fraternity) where she was a former vice president, rush chairman, national counselor to Pittsburgh, historian/ reporter, co-chairman business woman of the year, and co-chairman of initiation. She was also the publicity chairman of the American Society of Personnel Administration among many other achievements. She loved playing sports of all kinds as well as attending sports in all weather conditions and, of course, cheering on the Husker volleyball team throughout the years.

She also loved traveling. She traveled to Japan for work with Kawasaki and attended several Major League baseball stadiums to watch baseball with her sister and nephew.

Michelle is survived by her siblings, Larry (Sue), Allan (Paula), Mark (Patty), Gary (Lori) Eurek, and Kim McVey; Godson, Michael McVey; and many loving nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-inlaw, Ron McVey.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, March 28, 2025 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Lincoln.
