Fletcher selected for Boys State

American Legion Post 293 recently announced that James Fletcher, the son of Jim and Tasha Fletcher of Litchfield, will join nearly 340 other high school juniors from across Nebraska to participate in the American Legion Cornhusker Boys State program. This year’s program, which is scheduled to run from June 1st until June 7th at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln.

The annual citizenship program, sponsored by the Nebraska American Legion, is designed to provide youth with a better understanding of how city, county, and state governments operate.
