SHERMAN COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The Sherman County Historical Society is once again participating in Wander Nebraska, a Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation travel adventure program that promotes over 210 historical points of interest in Nebraska. Wander Nebraska is in its fourth year with over fifty new locations; the museum has free booklets available for anyone who is interested. Where else can you find information about each site, hours of operation, contact information, a map for directions, a list of upcoming events and a list of nearby Wander Nebraska sites? There is a prize for travelers; more information can be found in the booklet.
The Sherman County Historical Society’s plans for the 2025 Polish Days include homemade ice cream on Saturday after the parade and all buildings will be open for touring. It’s a great chance to see what is new, what has been changed, and what is in progress. Hint, hint— we have received several donated items that are remarkable additions to our collections.
