Jim Friesen will be presenting a program on Hiram Kano at the Loup City Library on Thursday, May 8th at 6:00 p.m.
Kano was a farmer and a Nebraskan of Japanese descent who was sent to an internment camp during World War II. Kano later was commemorated on the Episcopal church’s calendar of saints.
