NHPCA EXEMPLARY VOLUNTEER
PAM HARRINGTON of Loup City, a volunteer for Valley County Health System (VCHS) Hospice, was honored as an exemplary volunteer at the annual Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association (NHPCA) banquet on March 26th in Lincoln. Each year, NHPCA recognizes volunteers who provided outstanding volunteer services during the previous year at a Nebraska hospice agency. Harrington had retired from nursing in 2024 and immediately began volunteering. She provided nearly 150 volunteer hours in 2024. Pam is one of dozens of VCHS Hospice volunteers who have donated countless hours to volunteering with the Hospice program.
