LOUP CITY HIGH SCHOOL SPEECH

Loup City Public Schools’ “very young” team of performers returned from the District D1-2 competition in Polk last Tuesday, March 18th having placed in three events and qualifying one event for the state contest this Friday at Kearney High School.

Sophomore Grace Augustyn finished third in Extemporaneous Speaking at the event, qualifying for the state contest. Kaily Kurtzhals finished sixth in Entertainment Speaking. The Oral Interpretation of Drama (OID) team of Augustyn, Kurtzhals, Morgan Rademacher, and Tayler Obermiller came in fourth behind High Plains in that event, falling just outside of the qualifications,.
