State senator finding footing in Nebraska Legislature
The ninety-day first session of Nebraska’s 109th Legislature, which began on January 7th and ends on June 9th, marked its forty-fifth day in session last Monday. After a morning packed with hearings last Thursday, State Senator Dan McKeon— newly elected representative of the state’s 41st Legislative District—said things were “overall going well” despite some “wasting of time” by the state’s forty-nine member, single-house legislating body.
