aThe Ansley-Litchfield Spartans impressed in their 2024-2025 track and field season opening meet, grabbing six medals and one first place finish at last Thursday’s UNK Class D Indoor Invitational.
Leading the charge for the Black and Gold was senior Luke Bailey, who garnered the lone gold for the Spartans.
Bailey breezed through the sixty-meter hurdles prelims with a time of 8.95 seconds, then improved on that time in the finals, crossing the finish line in 8.92 and defeating North Central’s Trey Anthony by 0.06 seconds.
