NOTICE OF EQUALIZATION MEETING OF THE FARWELL IRRIGATION DISTRICT 
Notice is hereby given to all persons interested that the books of The Farwell Irrigation District are now on file in the office of the Secretary of The Farwell Irrigation District in the Town of Farwell, Howard County, Nebraska, and the same will remain open in said office for the inspection of all persons interested.
Notice is also given that the Board of Directors of The Farwell Irrigation District will sit as a Board of Equalization for said District at its office at Farwell, Nebraska. The purpose of the session is to equalize acreage for water right purposes, and they will be in session on April 1st , April 2nd, and April 3, 2025.  
All such persons interested may appear before such Board at such time to inform the Board of their requested changes for water right purposes.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 8, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., at the City Council Chambers, the City of Loup City’s City Council will meet to discuss the Blight & Substandard Determination Study & Redevelopment Plan and conduct a public hearing in the City Council Chambers of Loup City Nebraska.
A current copy of the City of Loup City Redevelopment Planning Program is available for public inspection at the City Office.  All interested parties are invited to attend this public hearing at which time you will have an opportunity to be heard regarding the City of Loup City’s Blight & Substandard Determination Study & Redevelopment Plan.  Written testimony will also be accepted at the public hearing schedule for 7:00 p.m., April 8, 2025, at the City Council Chambers.  Written comments addressed to AJ Reimers, City Clerk, at the City Office, 134 S 8th Street, PO Box 250, Loup City, NE  68853, will be accepted if received on or before April 2, 2025.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Sherman County Board of Commissioners will be accepting bids for mowing at Bowman Lake Recreation Area for the 2025 season. Mowing would consist of both sides of the road entering and going through the park area and all camping and picnic sites (as shown on the map). Mowing from May thru July 4th, 2025, will be done as needed before Memorial Day, Polish Days and the 4th of July. Depending on the amount of rain in July through September mowing will be done as needed.
All mowing must be approved by Ervan Dzingle-Bowman Lake Advisory Committee Member prior to mowing (Phone # 308-750-1397). Bid sheets and a map may be picked up at the Sherman County Clerk’s Office or by contacting the Sherman County Clerk at 308-745-1513 Ext. 100. 
Bids and proof of $1,000,000.00 in liability insurance must be hand delivered or mailed to the Sherman County Clerk at PO Box 456, Loup City, Nebraska 68853 by 10:00a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2025.

Project bid sheets and a copy of the contract may be obtained at the Sherman County Clerk’s office during regular business hours, Monday -Friday 8:30a.m.  to 4:30 p.m.

This project is subject to the requirements of 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation. The Airport Sponsor has established a contract participation goal of 10.99% for small business concerns owned and controlled by certified disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). The Owner’s award of this contract is conditioned upon the bidder satisfying the good faith effort requirements of 49 CFR § 26.53. 
General Civil Rights Provisions: In all its activities within the scope of its airport program, the Contractor agrees to comply with pertinent statutes, Executive Orders, and such rules as identified in Title VI List of Pertinent Nondiscrimination Acts and Authorities to ensure that no person shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability be excluded from participating in any activity conducted with or benefiting from Federal assistance. PUBLIC NOTICE
The Loup City Housing Authority shall make the 5-Year & Annual Agency Plan & Capital Grant work items available for public inspection for the purpose of informing the public of our Agency Plan initiative and to provide sufficient time to review the Plan.
The Agency Plan may be reviewed Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at the community room of the Loup City Housing Authority (Westside Park), 1048 K Street, Loup City, Nebraska. The Agency Plan will remain in place for reviewing until Friday, May 2, 2025. In addition, a public hearing will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 10:00am in the Westsside Park community room.
