Local farmers and ranchers brought in tractors and dirt moving equipment to the Sherman County Fairgrounds to begin work on the new 4-H arena. The dirt is from the Ference Hill about a mile from the fairgrounds. Rosie Wilson estimated around 2,500 yards of dirt will be needed. $78,000 has been raised for the project with $15,000 still needed.
