Women, men, and children in more than 170 countries will celebrate World Day of Prayer on March 7, 2025. This year, women of the Cook Islands call us to worship with the words “I made you wonderful.” World Day of Prayer is a worldwide organization that is planned numerous years in advance, and each year is planned by a different country, which choses the theme.
This year’s service will be held on March 7, 2025 at noon at the United Methodist Church, 610 L Street in Loup City. Following the prayer service, a light lunch will be served for all the attendees. If you are unable to stay and have lunch with us, we will be offering “to-go” lunches for our guests.
The women of the United Methodist Church and St. Josephat’s Catholic Church invite everyone to come and learn not only a little more about the women of the Cook Islands, but to pray together and acknowledge we are all wonderfully made by God.
